Welcome to The Half Moon in Mudford. 

Our opening hours are 12.00pm - 10.00pm and we serve food up to 9.00pm daily.

The Half Moon Inn and Country Lodge is pleasantly situated in the small village of Mudford just 2 miles from Yeovil and Penmill train station, in rural surroundings on the Somerset and Dorst borders.

The pub has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to the original rustic nature and surroundings of the 17th Century Inn, creating a special atmosphere.

The Inn has a spacious cobbled courtyard with tables and chairs in the Spring and Summer months, and is ideal for relaxing and enjoying a long Summer's evening.

We do allow small to medium dogs in our pub (not in the rooms with carpets), 

but unfortunately we do not allow dogs in our hotel rooms. 

We are happy for you to bring your own travel cot as we do not supply them.

Christmas at The Half Moon

We are taking bookings from 1st December to 23rd December, Monday to Saturday only between 12.00pm - 7.30pm.  You can choose from our Christmas specials or if you prefer any meal from our main menu, so there's something for everyone!

A deposit of £10,00 per person is required upon receipt of booking.
